The international RC Air Show which showcases the best radio controlled flying displays from around the world will return to the Fleet Air Arm Museum Yeovilton on May Bank Holiday 26 & 27.
Richard Benedikz - 11-Mar-2013
Radio controlled stunt pilots including World Champion Jamie Robertson from the USA will be competing within the exclusive Zone competition where helicopter flying skills are guaranteed to cause the spectators to gasp. Jamie Robertson’s YouTube videos have been seen by over 1 million people!
Says Museum spokes person Jon Jefferies, “The skill of the pilots and the amazing flying displays has to be seen to be believed. Helicopters perform to dramatic background music and spectators react enthusiastically to every dare devil move encouraging the pilots to fly faster and lower, often ending with some hard landings!”
Throughout the Museum there will be companies and experts in the field of radio controlled aircraft, to give help and advice to modellers of all levels of experience.
In addition to seeing the International Model Air Show, visitor will be able to go onboard the first British Concorde and see the award winning Aircraft Carrier Experience all set among Europe’s largest Naval aviation collection.
Tickets for the event are available on line through the Museum’s website www.fleetairarm.com, or in the Museum shop. Normal Museum entry prices apply and there is no additional cost to see the show. Those wishing to enter on Saturday by making a Gift Aid donation will be able to re enter on Sunday free of charge.
