EasyVFR for Windows

The PocketFMS Foundation has released EasyVFR for Windows 7 & 8.

12-Dec-2013

EasyVFR for Windows is the first moving map-flight planning system for Microsoft Windows 7 & 8 devices, which has been designed from the ground up to be used on a touch screen.

Rob Weijers, CEO of the PocketFMS Foundation, said “This marks a new departure for users
of Windows 7 & 8 touch screen devices. For the first time they are really able to use their devices for flight planning and flight management, with the same ease and comfort that iOS and Android users have enjoyed, by harnessing the power of their touch screens. We are very proud of the fact that PocketFMS is again leading the field in bringing new technology to the GA market.” Marcel Knol of the PocketFMS Foundation added “But there is more to EasyVFR for Windows than just touch. It also expands our support for our European Dynon Avionics users, by allowing them to use our Electronic Flight Bag documents and georeferenced charts in their Dynon SkyView EFIS systems.”

The public beta of EasyVFR for Windows 7 & 8 is available to all PocketFMS Frequent Flyer
Members, and can be downloaded from the PocketFMS website.
