RwandAir Orders Airbus A330s

AFRICAN AIRLINE RwandAir has finalised its order for an Airbus A330-200 and an A330-300.

AFRICAN AIRLINE RwandAir has finalised its order for an Airbus A330-200 and an A330-300, with the Rolls-Royce powered aircraft due to arrive in the latter half of 2016.

They will be used on medium- and long-haul routes to Europe, the Middle East and Asia and will be the first of the type to be utilised by an East African airline. The order confirms a Memorandum of Understanding made in March.

The A330-200 will have 244 seats (20 in Business Class, 21 in Premium and 203 in Economy), with the A330-300 having 274 seats (30 Business, 21 Premium and 223 Economy).
