US Army wants more Black Hawks
The US Army has given details of its budget request for 2011.

February 3: During a budget briefing at the Pentagon, the US Army’s Lt General Edgar E Stanton III, the deputy for budget, gave details of the budget request for 2011.
For aviation assets $1.3 billion is required to buy 48 UH-60M and 24 HH-60M Black Hawk helicopters, plus $1.1 billion to convert CH-47D Chinooks to CH-47F standard.
The Army also wants to extend its unmanned-aerial-systems (UAS) fleet with $459 million required for the addition of 26 MQ-1 Sky Warrior Extended Range Multi-Purpose UAS.
