Date set for 747-8 first flight
Boeing has set a date for the first flight of its new version of the 747 ‘Jumbo jet’.

February 5: Boeing has set a date of Monday, February 8 for the first flight of its new version of the 747 ‘Jumbo jet’, the 747-8 Freighter. The flight will take place at Boeing’s Paine Field in Everett, Washington, USA subject to weather conditions and final Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) clearance.
Boeing will be broadcasting the event live at www.747-8firstflight.com.
