Picture: Aussie Super Hornets ready to fly home
Australia's new Super Hornets are nearing their flight across the Pacific.

March 4: The Royal Australian Air Force Chief, Air Marshal Mark Binskin, said that the country’s first F/A-18F Super Hornets will fly to Australia within the next few weeks.
A detachment of aircrew and maintenance personnel from No. 1 Squadron is currently at Naval Air Station Lemoore in California, preparing the aircraft for the series of flights to Australia. The aircraft already carry 1 Squadron markings.
