Somon’s new 737s

Somon Air has ordered two Boeing 737-900ERs.

March 5: Tajikistan-based Somon Air has ordered two Boeing 737-900ERs (Extended Range) worth approximately $163 million at list prices.

The airline is Tajikistan’s first private full-service carrier and operates two 737-800s flying between its base at Dushanbe and cities in Russia, Germany, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. It is Somon’s first direct purchase with Boeing.
