Turkish goes for Boeing too

Turkish Airlines has placed an order for 20 Boeing 737s.

March 8: Following its announcement of a buy of Airbus A320s in February, Turkish Airlines has also placed an order for 20 Boeing 737 Next-Generation aircraft (ten 737-800s and ten 737-900ER (Extended Range)) valued at $1.6 billion (€1.17 billion).

The new 737s will be fitted with Boeing’s new ‘Sky Interior’. No delivery date has yet been disclosed but is expected in two years’ time.
