The online flight planning tool, SimBrief has released a new application to download FMS route files for each aircraft add-on and automatically export them in the right format and to the correct folders.
The SimBrief Downloader is designed to run in the background until it’s needed. Whenever you generate a flight plan on the SimBrief website, the program will detect this and show a small pop-up alert offering to export your chosen formats.
Other features of the SimBrief Downloader include: Automatic detection of your installed Flight Simulators and add-ons, the ability to specify multiple download locations for a given format, a built-in program tutorial, and built-in update capability.
