Lockheed Martin F-16AM/BM (MLU) Fighting Falcons of the Belgian Air Component deployed to Landivisiau, Brittany in North-West France for a training exercise to maintain high level of qualifications, mainly at night whilst work is carried out on the infrastructure of Florennes Air Base
The Czech Republic ordered four Bell AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters and eight UH-1Y Venom utility rotorcraft in December 2019, so it was not surprising to see examples of both from the USMC in the NATO Air Days static display from September 18-19
The event webpage says: "Evening flying featuring warbirds, pyrotechnics and more. Enjoy after-hours entry to IWM Duxford for this very special vintage aircraft flying display. Witness the aircraft that still call Duxford home take to the skies as the sun goes down and dusk turns to dark across this historic Second World War airfield."
The main flying displays the organisers say will be on Saturday and Sunday. The event website also says: "Join us again for our fantastic classic air display in the stunning grounds of the Ragley Hall Estate. There will be a wide array displays including Warbirds, Classic Jets, Helicopters, amazing high energy aerobatics, aerial ballet, flying circus and some of the largest radio controlled models in the world, that are so big you can almost climb into them!
"There will also be parachute display teams plus the chance to get up close and personal to some of our display aircraft which will be landing on site on our own dedicated runway! Our flying display will be an exciting and entertaining mix, with even a small section dedicated to our younger visitors."
