Airbus has released more performance information about the A330neo. The updated Airport Compatibility and Planning brochure for the A330 family lists ten initial weight variants (WVs) for the A330-900 and A330-800, the two new re-engined models in the A330 range. There are five initial WVs for the A330-800 (known as WV800 to WV804) and another five initial WVs for the A330-900 (known as WV900 to WV904).

The WVs offer maximum take-off weight (MTOW) options ranging from 230,000kg (507,063lb) to 242,000kg (533,519lb). Typical two-class capacity will be 257 seats on the A330-800 and 310 seats on the A330-900. The new WVs for the A330neos continues Airbus’s approach to the A330 family, which over the aircraft’s lifetime has seen the company develop multiple WVs offering different options on payload, fuel, range and MTOW.
