The Spanish government is negotiating the purchase of an additional H215 for the Ejército del Aire (Spanish Air Force) to be used for SAR missions, increasing the total order to four helicopters. The H215 is equipped with multi-function digital screens and an advanced 4-axis autopilot which provides precision and stability in harsh environments.

Once customised at Albacete, the fourth helicopter will probably be assigned to 802 Escuadrón at Gando, Canary Islands, the operator of the first three H215s. Roberto Yáñez
