A DC-8 with mid-level complexity

I still remember the first time I saw a DC-8. I was flying a tiny A-36 Bonanza for a freight company in South Carolina, hauling packages from smaller cities in the Carolinas to Charlotte, North Carolina. Typically, when I would pull on to the freight ramp in Charlotte, I would park next to a beat-up Airborne Express DC-9.
