AFSOC releases results of U-28A accident probe

US AIR Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) officials have released the results of their investigation into the March 14 Pilatus U-28A accident near Clovis Municipal Airport (KCVN), New Mexico, that killed three airmen on board (see Attrition, May, p97). The Aircraft Accident Investigation Board report, released on August 21, identifies the aircraft as 08-0724 (c/n 724, ex N624TS), operated by the 318th Special Operations Squadron, 27th Special Operations Wing. The three crew members who died were pilot Capt Andrew Becker, combat systems officer Capt Kenneth Dalga and co-pilot 1st Lt Frederick Dellecker.
