A selection of the most interesting aircraft to visit air bases in the UK recently.
US Navy P-3C Orion, 162776, of VP-40 just prior to departing RAF Mildenhall on March 30. The unit, based at NAS Whidbey Island in Washington state, is undertaking the last Orion deployment by an active duty US Navy squadron. The aircraft was en route to its forward operating location at Isa Air Base in Bahrain, while other examples from the unit were despatched to Kadena AB in Japan. Martyn Honeybell
