Air France unveils redesigned lounge at Montreal

The facility was opened in partnership with Plaza Premium Group and is available to customers of both firms

Air France has officially opened its redesigned lounge at Montreal/Pierre Elliot Trudeau International, with passengers flying in business class, Air France Flying Blue Elite Plus members and Plaza Premium Group customers able to enjoy the new space.

Located in the international section of the terminal, the airline worked with Canadian companies to create most of the furniture and lighting, with blues, greys, whites and reds the dominant colours to represent those of the French carrier.

The lounge offers customers the opportunity to shower before their flights along with free Wi-Fi and USB charging sockets, as well as an Air France Travel Guide screen to give passengers inspiration for their upcoming trips.

A self-service buffet offers hot and cold, savoury and sweet dishes throughout the day, while a large bar also offers a selection of French wines and champagnes.

Starting in the autumn the lounge will introduce a new restaurant service utilising the new ‘Night Service’ seated dining area, which will allow passengers travelling on the last evening flight to enjoy a French-style gourmet meal. These passengers can opt to have their onboard meals unloaded to save food waste.

Air France will operate up to 17 weekly flights between the Canadian city and Paris/Charles de Gaulle this summer, which will be operated by Airbus A350 and Boeing 777 aircraft.
