Air India to launch four routes from Gatwick

Air India is to start serving Gatwick Airport from March 26 this year operating 12 flights a week to four destinations using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners.

There will be three services a week each to Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Goa and Kochi (Cochin). The 787-8s will be configured with a total of 256 seats in business and economy classes.

“India not only offers wonderful cities and beach destinations to explore but provides a wealth of opportunities for businesses and wider connectivity. These connections are also hugely important to our local and regional communities, with people looking to visit family and friends across India.”

Air India has a fleet of 27 Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, 23 of which are currently in service.
