Boeings going… gone?

The former El Al Israel Airlines and Arkia Airlines 707-400 was removed from public display in Berlin after being vandalised in 2000. It was stored airside and used by the airport’s rescue and firefighting services

Germany’s last two Boeing 707s – the only 707-400s still in existance – are facing an uncertain future as their resident airports have either closed or are unwilling to continue funding maintenance of the jets.
