Argentina buys F-16s from Denmark

Twenty-four F-16 Fighting Falcons have been procured by Argentina from Denmark.

The contract was signed on April 16, 2024 at Skrydstrup, the home of the Royal Danish Air Force fighter force, where Denmark’s Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen met with his Argentinian counterpart Luis Petri. As well as the single-seat F-16AM (MLU) and two-seat F-16BM (MLU) ‘Vipers’, the deal includes four flight simulators, eight engines, spares support for five years and the training of pilots and maintenance personnel.
