Army Wildcats support UK's COVID-19 efforts

The British Army Air Corps has deployed three Leonardo Helicopters AW159 Wildcat AH1s to support the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) in combatting the COVID-19 pandemic.

The aircraft will operate from RNAS Yeovilton, Somerset, covering the south of England alongside Royal Air Force (RAF)-operated Boeing Chinooks and Westland Puma HC2 transport helicopters, based at RAF Odiham, Hampshire, and RAF Benson, Oxfordshire, respectively.
