Astonishing Details of Air War from 1941

The Aeroplane published surprisingly detailed weekly reports of the aerial campaigns of the RAF and the Luftwaffe during World War Two - this example is from the May 16, 1941 issue

Looking back it is incredible to read the level of detail that was being released for The Aeroplane to publish its weekly account of the air campaign. While one has to be mindful of propaganda, it is still remarkable to read the report of events which had only just happened and were taking place during the intensity of a world war where Germany was still a mighty military power.
