The graphics have had an upgrade, but the P3D ATC can trace it routes back to FS2004.

In the real world, almost all pilots fly with that little disembodied voice in their ear - a constant companion on a long flight north or a short afternoon hop. I’m talking about Air Traffic Control or ATC - an essential to almost all flights. It’s something you should have in any sim as well. As it happens, ATC is available in all of today’s current flight sims - Prepar3D, Flight Sim World and X-Plane 11 - all have built-in ATC control. On top of that there are a few third-party add-ons that replicate ATC control. The question is, are any of them any good? Can any of them deliver the authentic experience? Let’s take a look.
