According to Juan Carlos Salazar, ICAO Secretary General, “Air transport is the safest mode of transport, even during the current global circumstances.” Salazar was speaking in August as the organisation released its latest annual safety report – adetailed analysis of civil aviation safety performance covering worldwide operations in 2021.
