B-25 OLD GLORY: Pacific Odyssey

As Laura DiRado explains, while most of this year’s end of World War Two anniversary events were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, one group of warbird owners persevered to honour the ‘Greatest Generation’

 

As creative marketing director for the owner of the B-25 Mitchell Old Glory, I recently embarked on an eight-week adventure from upstate New York, USA to Oahu in Hawaii. The journey was fraught with mechanical, logistical and financial obstacles (and two 14-day quarantines). Nevertheless, I’d do it all again without hesitation… it was epic!
