While I’ve been up to my neck with the Airbus A320, it’s been easy to forget that in the cockpit building world, the A320 is very much a ‘Johnny-come-lately’. Before the A320 the Boeing 737 was and is the king. Every single part of the 737’s cockpit has been reproduced by someone. Where the A320 has a handful of parts suppliers, the 737 has dozens and I’m lucky enough to have something from one supplier to look at: an MCP panel from Polish suppliers, Simworld
