Carriers unveil New York/JFK Terminal 8 plans

British Airways (BA) and American Airlines (AA) have detailed their soon-to-be joint operation from New York/John F Kennedy’s Terminal 8 (T8).

Once the UK flag carrier’s Terminal 7 lease at the Queens hub expires this November, BA will relocate to T8 (pictured) from the start of the following month and join AA – a move aimed to “offer a more seamless customer experience”.

While transfer connections will be a major improvement thanks to the two carriers’ operations under one roof, for instance BA passengers would have more than 30 destinations from the AA network to choose from across the USA, Caribbean and Latin America, premium guests are set for an “reimagined journey through JFK”.
