Planes, people and projects came alive as The Aviation Society’s Memorabilia Fair made a triumphant return beneath the wings of Concorde. Carol Randall reports

"We didn’t know if it was possible, we took a big gamble because of COVID, but it paid off.” That’s how a delighted Peter Hampson, chairman of The Aviation Society (TAS), summed up the day as he and a team of smiling volunteers basked in the success of what is being billed as the best Manchester Airport Aviation Memorabilia Fair in recent years. Aviation was back in business!
