Blackbushe Vickers Viking 'Vagabond' restoration revealed

A classic British airliner is coming back together at Blackbushe Airport, and with exciting plans surrounding its future. Ben Dunnell went to find out more

Everyone could have been forgiven a moment of jubilation. As Vickers Viking 1A G-AGRW rolled through the gates of Blackbushe Airport on 2 May this year, it represented the culmination of many fervently held ambitions. But the volunteer team from the Blackbushe Heritage Trust knew it was also the point at which the real work started.
