The Boeing B-314 Clipper was an unmistakable icon of the flying boat era, performing transoceanic routes across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans during the 1930s and 40s. Although none of the original 12 Clippers were preserved, this example from PILOT'S now allows virtual flyers to take to the skies again in famous aircraft.

Initially released for Prepar3D in 2021, the aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator was developed from the ground up with colour-matched 4K textures and custom sounds. The package includes both the single-fin and twin-fin prototypes along with the longer-range B-314A version.

According to the developer, it is modelled to study-level complexity with a complete virtual cockpit featuring a fully simulated navigator station, radio room and the flight engineer panel. It also sports authentic equipment and gauges, including a Sperry Type A Gyropilot.
