Boeing Defense has recently delivered a further three KC-46A Pegasus tankers to the USAF from the firm’s production facility at King County International Airport (otherwise known as Boeing Field) in Seattle, Washington.

On October 20, Boeing confirmed that it had delivered the 15th and 16th KC-46As to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) in New Jersey – where they will be operated by the 305th Air Mobility Wing (AMW) – adding that the 60th AMW at Travis AFB in California had also received its third Pegasus. The three tankers were each delivered on October 20, with KC-46As (20-46079 and 20-46082) being delivered to the 305th AMW and Pegasus (21-46085) to the 60th AMW.
JB MDL welcomed its first two KC-46As to New Jersey on November 9, 2021, which were also the 49th and 50th aircraft to be received by the USAF. The 60th AMW is one of the more recent wings to begin its transition to the USAF’s new tanker, having accepted its first KC-46A on July 28, this year.
