Boeing delivers first 737 BBJ MAX

BOEING BUSINESS Jets (BBJ) announced at the NBAA-BACE show on October 15, 2018, that it has delivered the first 737 BBJ MAX aircraft to an undisclosed customer.

The aircraft will be flown to a finishing centre in the United States, where it will have its corporate interior fitted before commencing operations with the customer.

Greg Laxton, Head of BBJ, said: “There has been great market interest and anticipation for the BBJ MAX and our valued customers will soon be able to see the new standard in business travel.”

Boeing has logged 20 orders for the 737 BBJ MAX, including one aircraft for Season Trading Inc, which was announced during the 2018 Farnborough International Airshow in July. Nigel Pittaway
