Brasilia Takes Flight in Prepar3D and FSX

Chilean developer Carenado has announced the B120 for FSX and Prepar3D is out now.

Based on the Embraer EMB 120 Brasilia, the package from Carenado features high-definition 4K textures (P3DV4.4 and up) along with full PBR (Physically Based Rendering) effects.

Up front, the flight deck comes with an original autopilot and support for the Flight1 and Reality XP GTN 750 (please note these are sold separately). It comes with AIRAC cycle 1601, dated January 2016 although users with an active Navigraph subscription can update it to the latest database.

The aircraft is fully VR (Virtual Reality) compatible and includes a custom sound set with real EMB120 engine audio effects and aural warnings. Other highlights include special effects such as rolling movement on take-off and landing, custom brakes sounds and realistic night lighting in the cockpit.

A custom panel can be used for configuring window transparency, instrument reflections and ground equipment such as wheel chocks. Finally, a ‘Cold & Dark’ option is available for realistic start-ups.
