In brief

Industrial Bank Financial Leasing has been revealed as the customer behind a previously undisclosed order for ten Bombardier CRJ900 regional jets. The Beijing-based bank initially signed a contract on June 20, and the two parties are now working on exploring market opportunities for regional fleet growth. The firm deal is valued at approximately $472m.

Bombardier Business Aircraft concluded a $129.4m deal for four Challenger 650 jets with Zetta Jet on October 30. The rapidly expanding Singapore-based charter operator currently flies an all-Bombardier fleet, with nine Global Express aircraft. The latest deal comes after the manufacturer signed a purchase agreement with China’s Minsheng Financial Leasing, which in turn signed a “strategic agreement on the co-operation in aircraft leasing” with Zetta Jet at the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) 2016 Convention and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida.
