Cabin refresh

JetBlue

AROUND ONE third of the A320s operated by JetBlue are to receive an upgraded cabin by the end of 2019.

The new cabin is centred on the Collins Meridian seat, customised for JetBlue with 18in (457mm) width and what the airline says is “the most legroom in coach of any US airline”.

JetBlue’s cabin refresh also includes a new inflight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) system, HD seatback TVs, in-seat power outlets with USB ports and free gate-to-gate Fly- Fi high-speed internet. The IFEC is provided through the Thales AVANT and ViaSat-2 systems and offers a choice of more than 100 channels of live TV, destinationspecific content, an enhanced 3D flight map, personal handheld device pairing capabilities for use as a remote or gaming controller, and expanded Fly-Fi connectivity.

The first phase of JetBlue’s A320 interior cabin restyle began in spring 2018, but this spring sees the upgrade fully transition to the 2019 version of onboard products for all aircraft.
