Captain Sim Announces a new 767

Aircraft developer, Captain Sim has revealed it is working on a new 767 for Prepar3D version 4.

Dubbed the 767 Captain II, the aircraft is a new generation of the ‘767 Captain’ product line and will include the 767-300ER Base Pack and a Freighter Expansion. The 767-200 Expansion pack and the Wireless CDU are yet to be confirmed.

According to Captain Sim, the package will feature a functional flight deck with advanced systems simulation (FMC/LNAV/VNAV/WXR/EGPWS etc) and passenger/payload configuration and management via the FMC. It will also be equipped with high resolution textures, improved lighting and rain effects on the windshield.

It will feature a highly detailed and accurate model of the 767-300ER with 4K textures, different door configurations along with several variants with optional equipment such as winglets, antennas, etc). The cabin will also be modelled with 3D windows, stewardess and animated pilots. It will feature hundreds of realistic animations including brand-new wing flex, volumetric lighting and an integrated GPU.
