Carenado’s PC12 review

One of the most versatile aircraft in the world

For most people who have been sim hobbyists for a little while, the add-on manufacturer Carenado needs no real explanation. It has been around for quite a few years, focusing on creatively simplified yet still accurately immersive general aviation aircraft for flight simulation. Developing for Prepar3D, X-Plane and the more recent Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), its goal is to bring high quality products to the market that can recreate a simplified flight simulation experience but sticking very close to reality. Over the years, we’ve got used to a Carenado ‘look and feel’, and the seemingly huge array of products it now has is only to its credit, with a large proportion of aircraft fitting into GA, training, single and twin engine corporate and regional jets.
