Aircraft developer, Carenado has released the C337 Skymaster for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Known as the push-pull twin, the Cessna 337 Skymaster has a front/rear engine layout and is typically used for surveillance, transport, firefighting activities and military missions.
The aircraft from Carenado comes with five liveries with PBR (Physically Based Rendering) effects throughout and a blank template for creating custom paint jobs.
Up front, the cockpit is equipped with a GNS530 GPS and optional GTN750 integration (GTN750 from pms50.com). It comes with a full set of avionics, including a BK RDR2000 weather radar, KX 165 Nav/Com, a custom KR87 ADF and a KT76A Transponder.
A custom HQ digital sound set was recorded from the real aircraft and includes engine sounds, various buttons in the cockpit and wind audio effects.
A tablet can be used for controlling static elements, pilots, doors and starting options such as cold and dark, ready to taxi and ready for take-off start options. Documentation includes normal and emergency procedures, performance tables and a reference PDF.
The package is available on the Microsoft Flight Simulator in-game Marketplace for £20.99.
