Thranda Design has announced the next aircraft in the Dynamic Generation Series (DGS), the Cessna 337F Skymaster, is now available for X-Plane 11 and 12.
The aircraft sports nine high-resolution liveries and an accurate 3D model with PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials, true-to-life plate deformation and to-the-rivet precision.

It is possible to create custom liveries based on two basic design layouts (modern and classic). A dynamic livery editor is adjustable in real-time and features full PBR control with the ability to create custom liveries with a metallic, matte or sandblasted look with dirt and the ability to set the desired amount of wear and tear such as dirt and scratches, etc.

The package comes with four cockpit presets as well as a fully configurable 3D panel with more than 50 instruments to choose from, including a GNS430/530 or an Aspen EFD 1000. Support for the RealityXP 650 and GTN750 is also included. Any instrument can be moved to any location on the panel or even between the pilot and co-pilot's positions.
Ground equipment includes a driveable electric tug, chocks, engine covers and tie-downs that keep the aircraft from moving in high winds. It also comes with different start-up options, such as cold-and-dark or ready-for-take-off, etc.

Other highlights include a fully modelled Continental IO-320-F front engine and authentic flight dynamics designed with the help of real-world Skymaster pilots, along with full systems simulation down to individual circuit breakers. Additionally, a custom DynaFeel control system simulates how strongly the control surfaces are affected by oncoming air allowing for more realistic handling.

An optional cargo pod features realistic weight and drag characteristics, along with a weight and balance manager with options to set the weight for individual passengers or to create a hybrid passenger/cargo layout.
A high-fidelity FMOD sound set features authentic atmospheric 3D audio effects with individual buttons and switches in the cockpit having unique sounds. Additionally, effects such as blade slapping and engine cool-down ticking based on temperature are modelled.

The Skymaster is fully VR compatible and can be updated automatically using the SkunkCrafts Updater. It is available on x-plane.org for $39.95 (approx £33).
