Aerosoft has announced Airport Chania - Ioannis Daskalogiannis XP is now available for the X-Plane 11 platform.
Developed by Stairport Sceneries, Chania Airport, located on the Greek island of Crete, is recreated complete with high-resolution ground textures, 3D objects and buildings, including the new terminal completed in 2018. PBR (Physically Based Rendering) effects are included throughout and a custom high-resolution mesh provides an accurate runway slope.
Runway and taxiway markings are based on 2018 date, including new apron parking positions. It comes with HDR lighting throughout including 3D taxiway and runway lights. The apron is populated with custom static aircraft are based on real-world airlines, animated ground service vehicles and marshallers.
The surrounding area features custom autogen, HD vegetation and grass as well as seasonal variations.
Chania is available on the Aerosoft website for €23.14.
