EIGHT CHINESE People’s Liberation Army Aviation Corps helicopters recently deployed to Russia to take part in manoeuvres. The four Z-10 attack helicopters and four medium-lift Mi-171s arrived at the civilian airport at Chelyabinsk on September 6 for a fuel stop. They continued the following day to the Russian air base at Orenburg en route to the Donguz training ground in the Orenburg region where they took part in the Tsentr 2019 exercise (see also Russia & CIS, p20).
