NZA Simulations has released Christchurch Airport (NZCH) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The airport and the surrounding business parks with approximately 300 buildings are modelled in 3D with full PBR (Physically Based Rendering) effects and true-to-life terraformed runways and aprons with ground markings as well as markings for the surrounding roads and car parks.
It also sports extensive interior modelling for the control tower, main terminal and boarding areas. The Novotel Hotel's top and ground floor interiors are similarly modelled in 3D with high-resolution parallax room textures.
Other highlights include airport fences with vegetation, high-resolution aerial ground imagery, custom night lighting and parking positions with the correct airline codes. It also comes with animated jetways, 3D AI people in the terminal, custom AI vehicles roaming the airport, including pushback and catering trucks, a working clock for the Sudima Hotel and rotating primary airport surveillance radar.
Various audio effects include sounds for the jetways and the terminal interior, such as chatter, announcements, piano sounds, etc. Support for Aerosoft's VDGS (Visual Docking Guidance System) at gates 16-35 is also included with audio effects.
The package is available on OrbxDirect for AUD$37.27 (approx £21.04).
