Neo Lands in Tashkent

UZBEKISTAN AIRWAYS has reached a major milestone in its fleet renewal programme after taking delivery of its first Airbus A320neo. The CFM Leap-1A-powered aircraft, UK32021 (c/n 8754), was handed over during a ceremony at the manufacturer’s Hamburg/Finkenwerder plant on March 8. It is expected to be joined by the second of two examples it has on order in April, both of which will be leased from BOC Aviation.
