Aircraft developer, DC Designs has announced the Concorde for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available.
DC Designs' Concorde is designed to be accessible to all users without the need for intense study while also providing a challenge for those who like to fly complex airliners.

It is fully compliant with Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) native materials that take advantage of features such as rain effects and sounds, reflective glass and the new 'Modern' aerodynamics system. Animations such as low-pressure vapour, reheat and engine smoke trails are also modelled.

The package includes four liveries and a virtual cockpit with 3D instruments and most switches, dials and knobs modelled from the real Concorde. The forward passenger cabin is also fully modelled with working doors and passenger sounds. Other highlights include weather radar, a functional CIVA INS navigation system and a realistic flight model - Concorde will only reach Mach 2 at 60,000ft.

Ground equipment consists of jetways, a fuel truck, ground power equipment, baggage loading and catering vehicles. Crew figures in the virtual cockpit are coded to disappear when you occupy their seats.

Aircraft systems include fully operational fuel transfer and a centre-of-gravity balance system, with 138 lines, 64 pumps and 38 valves correctly represented. Automated fuel transfer is available for those who prefer a simpler experience. It is also fully compliant with Virtual Reality headsets.
Please note, that the package is not compatible with the Xbox edition of MSFS.
