Cumbrian Phantom FGR.2 restored for static display

Phantom XV406 has been returned to the scheme it wore with 111 Squadron.

Volunteers at Solway Aviation Society are close to completing their refurbishment of McDonnell Douglas Phantom FGR.2 XV406. The jet will be on public display at Carlisle Airport’s Solway Aviation Museum from this month.
