As Czech Airlines Technics continues to expand its product and service portfolio, Airliner World speaks with Pavel Haleš, the company’s chairman and CEO to learn about its future ambitions.

ALW: The MRO sector is highly competitive, particularly in central and eastern Europe. What are you doing to maintain your position in the region?

PH: Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) focuses on four key business segments, with base maintenance being the largest. Over the last four years, we have expanded our operations within the division from the original three to the current five base maintenance stands. We are proud to carry on the heritage and tradition of maintenance services provided since 1923. Based on this long-term tradition, our employees have know-how, expertise and experience with different types of aircraft and with many special projects. One of our main advantages is also our location. Prague is in the heart of central Europe and our facilities at Václav Havel Airport Prague can easily be reached by our clients.
