Royal Danish Navy MH-60R Seahawk helicopters are expected to achieve initial operational capability (IOC) in mid- 2017, with six delivered. Deliveries of the remaining three helicopters will be completed by May 2018. Full operational capability is scheduled for 2019. Danish MH-60Rs are equipped for maritime patrol and search and rescue and do not carry anti-submarine warfare systems. Following IOC, the type will start deployments on board Thetis-class patrol frigates and other Danish ships.
