Eagle Dynamics has announced that the Open Beta version of the DCS: Christen Eagle II is now available as a download.

The Christen Eagle II, which later became the Aviat Eagle II in the mid-1990s, is an aerobatic biplane aircraft that has been produced in the US since February 1977. Designed by Frank Christensen, a veteran World War Two P-51D pilot and aerobatic competitor, the real aircraft was originally built to compete with the Pitts Special.
Developed by Magnitude 3 LLC, the DCS version touches on many aspects not previously explored in DCS World. It aims to capture a unique flying experience of an aerobatic sports biplane, allowing virtual aerobatic pilots to perform manoeuvres previously not possible. It is an easy aircraft to fly and is equipped with a constantspeed propeller and fully inverted fuel and oil systems, allowing the pilot to concentrate purely on the aerobatics.
