DCS: F4U-1D Corsair Interview

A module combining the Corsair and Essex-Class aircraft carrier

In our previous issue of PC Pilot, we interviewed Eagle Dynamics’ Senior Producer, Matt Wagner along with Project Manager and Team Leader for World War Two projects, Sergey Gerasev, who gave us an update on their current DCS projects. In that discussion, Sergey Gerasev, told us that the Magnitude 3 team (a DCS third-party developer) was working on an F4U-1D Corsair and Essex-Class aircraft carrier module for DCS.

DCS: F4U-1D Corsair

Excited by this news, I invited the Magnitude 3 team to take part in an interview to discuss the work they have done so far on these two projects. Magnitude 3 (registered in Florida USA), comprises three co-owners who are also the principal developers of the company’s modules, each of whom has their own area of expertise.

Novak Djordjijevic is the flight model and systems/weapons specialist, Radu Manole is a talented lead programmer and aircraft systems/weapons developer and Michael Carter is a gifted lead artist and manages all art-related work.
