Five years is not an insignificant amount of time. In that period lives can change, empires rise or fall and projects thrive or wither on the vine. When TFDi Design announced its 717 project in mid-2012, it probably had no idea of the long road that lay ahead. Reading developers’ blog reports since that time, it is clear the team was focused and determined throughout the process and the progress shown in each new blog report was impressive. Nearly half a decade later, towards the tail end of December 2016, the 717 was released to the public, starting a new phase of TFDi’s journey. Are we witnessing the rise or fall of an empire?
