Dnata appoints new CEO for Asia Pacific

With more than 20 years of experience in the sector, Charles Galloway will assume the position with immediate effect  

Global air and travel services provider, dnata, has announced that Charles Galloway will assume the position of regional chief executive officer for Asia Pacific.

He is set to oversee the company’s operations at 13 airports across four countries which include Australia, Singapore, the Philippines and Indonesia, whilst managing around 4,800 employees within the aviation field. 

Galloway will be based in Singapore and will report to David Barker – the divisional senior vice president for airport operations at dnata.  

He has worked with the firm for more than three years, with previous experience in leading the commercial development of its international operations. Additionally, he has also been a board director of the company’s USA division since 2020.

Charles’s broad experience and passion for quality and customer success will help us cement our leading position in this strategic market. We stay focussed on consistently delivering world-class services and safety at all dnata airports globally.” 

Prior to joining the travel services provider, Galloway served in senior leadership roles at both Swissport International and Thomson Airways, with more than 20 of experience within the sector overall.
